About Me

Hi there! I’m Britt. Is this where I spill the tea and talk about me? Okay then, let’s get into it...

The Boring Section:

After graduating from high school in Hawaii, USA, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to explore different educational opportunities. I discovered a fantastic accredited college, the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, located in Tempe, Arizona. Over the next four years, I earned my degree in Mind-Body Psychology (psychoneuroimmunology) with a minor in Whole Foods Nutrition. Additionally, I obtained my LMT qualifications, specialising in Myotherapy, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, and Polarity Therapy.

At the start of my career, I primarily worked in pain management clinics, treating chronic pain conditions and structural misalignments.

A Bit More Interesting:

From 2008 to 2016, I worked in health spas on cruise ships, helping clients from around the world and witnessing firsthand how physical, mental, and emotional health are deeply connected. Working with such a diverse range of people allowed me to see clear patterns in how stress and emotional states manifest in the body.

I spent four years as a manual therapist and four years as a Spa Director, leading five departments and managing teams of 28+. While teaching others about stress management, I found myself working 70+ hours a week, neglecting my own well-being. The pressure of running multimillion-dollar spas took a serious toll—adrenal fatigue, panic attacks, ulcers, and chronic anxiety.

I’ve lived the impact of stress firsthand.

But there was light on the horizon…

The Best Bit:

While onboard, I met my future husband, and we eventually left life at sea to settle in the United Kingdom. Together, we have two incredible children—our son, who is autistic, and our daughter, who shows traits of ADHD. Parenting has been my most challenging and rewarding adventure.

For much of my life, I didn’t know I was neurodivergent. I struggled with overwhelm, emotional regulation, and constant mental chatter, never fully understanding why simple tasks felt so hard or why stress affected me so deeply. It wasn’t until a later diagnosis that I began to understand my nervous system—why I react the way I do, where tension builds, and how my body and mind respond to stress. That understanding didn’t erase the struggle, but it gave me the tools to work with my brain and body, instead of against them.

Raising neurodivergent children while navigating my own neurodivergence has shown me the importance of being seen and supported. I understand the fatigue, frustration, and guilt that come with parenting under overwhelm, and I know what it feels like to try to regulate your child’s emotions while your own nervous system is running on empty.

Healing has come through learning strategies that work for my unique nervous system—practices that support regulation, restore calm, and nourish both mind and body.
